Another busy week here at CBT included our General Manager, Lee Wuebker delivering Aureon Charity Grant Awards around the community! Some of the projects awarded grants include: The Climbing Wall at the Wall Lake Rec Center, St. Joseph's Water Fountain, The Sculpture in front of the new Lake View Community Center and the Landscape Block in the City of Wall Lake!

Corn Belt Telephone and Aureon presented a $1000.00 grant Tuesday in support of the Wall Lake Library.  The grant will be used toward new Columns on the front of the Library.

Accepting the award was Jody Fischer, Wall Lake Library (center) pictured with the presenters, Lee Wuebker, Corn Belt Telephone General Manager (left), and J.D. Siebert of Aureon (right).

And because two is always better than one, we presented another $1000 check to the Lake View Foundation for Summer Banners downtown. Accepting the award were Connie Aasen and Mayor of Lake View, John Westergaard.  Presenting was again Lee Wuebker, Corn Belt Telephone General Manager (left), and J.D. Siebert of Aureon (right).

Gearing Up and a Fresh Coat!

Corn Belt Telephone and Aureon presented a $1000.00 grant in support of the Wall Lake Fire Department AND a $250.00 grant to the Wall Lake Historical Society today. The grants will be used toward new bunker gear for the fire department and a fresh coat of paint for the Andy Williams House.

02/23/21 Local Grants Awarded

A model remodel, on camera, that's cool!

Corn Belt Telephone and Aureon presented a $500.00 grant to Twilight Acres yesterday. The grant will be used toward the Family Room Remodel.

Afterward, they made a quick jot over to Lake View to present a $400.00 grant to the Lake View Foundation to be used toward cameras for the Sewage Plant.

Last but not least, they stopped by the American Legion Hall in Lake View to present a $500 grant to them for the Legion Hall Air Conditioner.

03/04/20 Simmering Up Improvements

Grant Awarded to American Legion Post 133.

Corn Belt Telephone and Aureon presented a $500.00 grant to the American Legion Post 133 in Lake View on Wednesday.  The grant will be used for an on demand hot water heater.

03/04/20 Raising the (funds for the) Roof!

Grant Awarded to Lake View Foundation.

Corn Belt Telephone and Aureon presented a $500.00 grant to the Lake View Foundation and Lake View Library yesterday.  The grant will be used toward a new roof on the Lake View Library.

12/13/19 Warming Up

Local Charity Grant Awarded

Lake View Foundation and the City of Lake View were presented with a check for $400 from Corn Belt Telephone through the Aureon Charity Grant Program.  Funds from the grant will be used toward a second heater in the Speaker Park Shelter House.  Aureon and Corn Belt Telephone Company are committed to advancing Iowan communities and recognize the City of Lake View for their passion for the betterment of their neighborhood.

12/13/19 Grant Awarded

Fashionable Display for Historical Society.

Corn Belt Telephone Co., Inc. and Aureon presented a $400.00 grant to the Lake View Historical Museum.  The grant will be used toward mannequins to display Veterans Uniforms.  Present to receive the grant for the Lake View Historical Museum were Jan Frisbie, Kay Montano, Jane Croll and Peggy Derner.

06/12/19 Local Shelter Houses Receive Funds

Impactful Grants Better Community Resources

Aureon and Corn Belt Telephone were proud to present a Grant totaling $500.00 to the Wall Lake Shelter House and a Grant in the amount of $450.00 to the Lake View Foundation on Wednesday, June 12th, 2019.

The Wall Lake Shelter House funds are to be used toward the cost of window shades, to aid in light filtering, while the Lake View Foundation will be applying the funds toward Shelter House heaters in Lake View.

03/15/19 Multiple Awards for the City of Wall Lake

A Little of This and a Little of That

Aureon and Corn Belt Telephone were proud to present three grants totaling $1900.00 to the City of Wall Lake on Friday, March 18th, 2019.  $1400 will be used for bunker gear for the Wall Lake Fire Department, $250 for a swing at the park and $250 toward a storage building at the Wall Lake Shelter House. Aureon and Corn Belt Telephone Company are committed to advancing Iowan communities and recognize the City of Wall Lake for their passion for the betterment of their neighborhood.
