Charity Grant Assists with Strengthening Community

The Sac County Hometown Pride Committee received funds to go toward the $5000 cost for IEDA Assessments.  IEDA, or the Iowa Economic Development Authority, “works to strengthen economic and community vitality by building partnerships and leveraging resources to make Iowa the choice for people and business. Through two main divisions, business development and community development, IEDA administers several state and federal programs to meet its goals of assisting individuals, communities and businesses.”  The IEDA will assess the downtown areas of Sac County Communities to see what kind of improvements can be made to make the Community’s vision a reality.

The $350.00 Charity Grant was awarded Tuesday from Aureon and Corn Belt Telephone Company to The Sac County Hometown Pride Committee to assist with the expense.  Aureon and Corn Belt Telephone Company are committed to advancing Iowan communities and look forward to the results
